We are looking for a skilled and passionate Product Director who will be responsible for the development of highly engaging mobile games.
We just launched a new venture with the name BrandGames. Our aim is to establish a new marketing channel by creating fun and entertaining mobile games (iOS and Android) for leading brands globally. Think of an arcade pizza delivery game from your favorite pizza delivery service or a match-the-tiles puzzle from your favorite drink or beverage brand.
You will strongly shape the design of the organization. You own the production of our games for the brands, manage the game developers and other teams, and ensure that we meet the defined expectations of the brands.
We are part of the applike group ecosystem, which gives us an unfair advantage in the market. Our four sister companies are leading in their verticals. With our fifth venture, BrandGames, we now combine forces and revolutionize the advertising market.
Finally, we are financially backed by Bertelsmann, which ensures that we have the necessary financial means to win this market.

What you will do:
You own and manage the development process of highly engaging mobile games, from the ideation phase to the planning stage (incl. definition of features and requirements), to the development stage, and to the final deliveryYou will be the key link between the business team that defines the commercial requirements and the game developers who will create games that reach themYou will analyze the market and understand current trends and interesting game opportunities, which will become success stories for our brand partnersYou ensure a smooth process for all involved parties by having a great understanding of how to manage and work with peopleYou will run A/B and other tests to ensure that we select the best-performing genre, gameplay, and creatives, all in collaboration with our UA teamYou will support our efforts in working with the teams from the brands (our customers), to ensure quality and CI guidelines are metAs you are among the first employees of our new venture, you will have a huge impact on the success of the business, enabling you to grow your own career pathIn everything you do, you will be supported by a stellar team
Who you are:
You have a proven track record of successful mobile games where you were responsible for the full production cycleYou are structured and well organized to ensure that development projects, involving multiple stakeholders, go along as planned and deadlines are metYou possess a very entrepreneurial, driven, and highly analytical mindsetYou are a creative person, at the same time you are highly ambitious and have a hands-on mentalityYou are an excellent communicator and speak very good EnglishYou are very passionate about your work and you are eager to build up a new venture from scratch, with all the opportunities that come along with it
