Transforming 50M+ daily events into real-time actionable dashboard insights
The Dashboards team is responsible for the systems and interfaces that define our partners’ daily operations. We build the campaign management APIs, analytics engines, and high-throughput tools that allow advertisers and publishers to configure, monitor, and optimize their activity on our platform.
The team operates across two distinct engineering challenges. On the analytics side, we process and render real-time data across 50+ million daily events using Go, Kafka, and Druid, with highly optimized graph-rendering in TypeScript React and Recharts capable of visualizing datasets that would overload conventional solutions. On the tools side, every partner configuration triggers changes across 100+ downstream microservices in real time campaign parameters, publisher settings, promotion logic, billing cycles, built on Go, Kafka, SQS/SNS, and MySQL, driving the experience for 770 million annual users.
Your Mission & Who We Are Looking For:
Senior Go engineer with architectural experience. You bring 7+ years in software engineering including several years in lead roles — Tech Lead, Software Architect, or comparable. You have outstanding Go experience in production backend environments handling billions of daily API events, and a proven track record of making architectural decisions that hold up at scale.
Distributed systems at adtech scale. You’ve designed and operated microservice architectures using Kafka, SQS/SNS, and Kinesis for reliable asynchronous communication. You know how to collect, aggregate, and query massive event streams from a data lake in seconds, and you’ve worked with DynamoDB to deliver few-millisecond API response times.
Columnar databases are part of your toolkit. You have extensive experience with Druid or ClickHouse, building and optimizing queries that power fast, insightful dashboards. You understand the full picture — from how data is ingested to how it’s visualized in a TypeScript React frontend.
Partner-facing API ownership. You design and maintain external APIs used by advertising partners for reporting and campaign configuration — uploading creatives, retrieving spend data, publishing configuration changes. You build for transparency, reliability, and developer experience.
Technical leader who connects business and engineering. You’ve managed and developed engineers in fast-changing environments, including performance management. You translate business and product requirements into technical decisions, manage stakeholder expectations, and keep cross-functional teams aligned without losing engineering rigor.

If you prefer 100% remote companies, applike is not the right place for you because we strongly believe in face-to-face collaboration. However, we did implement a hybrid working model where we are in the office at least three days a week (Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday) and can work remotely the remaining two days. Additionally, you get three whole weeks per year to work fully remotely if you want.
