Transforming 50M+ daily events into real-time actionable dashboard insights

The Dashboards team is responsible for the systems and interfaces that define our partners’ daily operations. We build the campaign management APIs, analytics engines, and high-throughput tools that allow advertisers and publishers to configure, monitor, and optimize their activity on our platform. 
 

This is not about simple CRUD interfaces, it is about building high-performance data surfaces that drive massive business decisions. Using Go, Kafka, and Druid, we process and render real-time analytics across 50+ million daily events, ensuring accuracy and complex campaign performance reporting at scale. On the frontend, we tackle genuine engineering constraints: utilizing TypeScript and React, we have moved beyond standard library limitations to build highly optimized graph-rendering with Recharts capable of visualizing datasets that would overload conventional solutions.

 
Your Mission & Who We Are Looking For:

  • Go is your primary language at scale. You have 5+ years in software development with 3+ years building production Go services. You’ve worked on high-traffic systems handling 100M+ requests per day, and you know how to profile and optimize Go applications — not just identify that something is slow, but fix it.

  • Distributed systems are your default. You design and operate microservice architectures using event buses like Kafka and SQS/SNS for reliable asynchronous communication. At adjoe, you’ll be collecting and aggregating billions of daily API events into Kafka and Kinesis streams, queryable from the data lake in seconds.

  • Data performance matters to you. You work with columnar databases like Druid and relational databases like MySQL, optimizing queries to deliver few-millisecond response times. You understand the difference between how data should be stored and how it should be queried at scale.

  • Partner-facing data ownership. You’ll support partners by providing raw or aggregated data through well-documented open APIs, backed by TypeScript React dashboards on the frontend. You believe in data transparency and build APIs that reflect that.

  • Infrastructure fluency is a plus. Experience with Terraform, Docker, or serverless infrastructure helps when owning services end-to-end in a Kubernetes-based environment. Columnar database experience is a strong plus

    How is AI used for the recruitment process?

    As part of our hiring process, we may use an AI Notetaker tool to transcribe and summarize interviews. This enables our hiring teams to focus fully on candidates and ensures a fair and well-documented selection process.

    This tool joins interviews as a silent participant and generates a transcript and factual notes. Only those directly involved in the hiring process will have access to this data, which is stored securely and deleted after 6 months.

    Candidates are informed in advance, given the option to opt out, and opting out does not impact the outcome of the application.

    How do I know I’m really being contacted by someone from applike group?

    No problem! Our visa and relocation support does also include your partner or kids. (Please be aware that legal marriage is often times a requirement to obtain a partner-visa).

    Can I work remotely?

    If you prefer 100% remote companies, applike is not the right place for you because we strongly believe in face-to-face collaboration. However, we did implement a hybrid working model where we are in the office at least three days a week (Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday) and can work remotely the remaining two days. Additionally, you get three whole weeks per year to work fully remotely if you want.

    The headquarters of the applike group and all its subsidiaries are located in Hamburg, Germany. We do have offices in the US and APAC.
